Hot Tub....well, just Tub really.

We woke up Sunday morning bright and early. We had to be out of our hotel room by 10am...with our bags packed. We scheduled a timeshare presentation for 10:30, so it all worked out. The hotel was to move our luggage (& food) to our actual room...ya know- the one with the hot tub on the balcony!?

The timeshare presentation we signed up for was supposed to last for the typical 90 minutes...plus breakfast (for free) and a few gifts. After wishing we didn't own 18 houses and 12 cars so we could purchase the cheapest timeshare opportunity any of us had ever heard of, and FOUR hours later...we got back to our hotel. We were all excited to un-pack (again) and head to the beach. It was only about 1pm, so we were informed the room was not ready. Guillermo told me, "we don't allow check in until 4 o'clock." I very politely (actually was polite) told him, "Yes, but we checked in two days ago!!" He didn't care when we checked in...or he didn't understand that Mike was holding me back from punching him...I'm not sure which...but he didn't budge.

We headed to the beach for lunch...and guacamole...and more shrimp tacos. We were smart enough to wear our bathing suits, so we laid on the beach until we got the word our room was ready. The room was on the 4th floor, was also 2-bedroom and had our hot tub!! It was already running...we couldn't wait for it to be warm enough to relax in.

For dinner, Cody & Mike went to the Baja Brewing Company on the property and picked up a couple of pizzas for dinner. We didn't realize how tiny the pizzas were...Rebecca and I could have each had a whole pizza to ourselves...so the boys could have had 3 or 4 to themselves. It was more like a snack...but we were fine with whatever as long as we could get in the much anticipated hot tub and relax!!
After more than enough time for the heater to have warmed the water...it was still COLD. Not even luke warm...just COLD. Mike called and talked to Guillermo...it took numerous phone calls and a few threats (that probably did NOT translate well) before we were moved to another room. Ugh.

We were moved from the 4th floor to the 6th floor...the view was even better and the hot tub was almost too hot. We were stoked.

So, after NOT having reservations when we had reservations and three rooms...we are all settled and truly enjoying Cabo. The weather is beautiful, the people are very nice, the food is some of the best I have ever eaten and the company is incredible. What a great vacation so far.
