To give me even more justification to the snake I saw in the Spring of 2013…and then the snake Mike caught in October 2013…we found another snake in the backyard.
Mike and Blip were out in the backyard playing when Mike asked me to grab Blip for him. By the sound of Mike's voice I did what he asked without question…and after a few minutes Mike came inside with another captured snake. This time the snake was in the rocks where Blip was playing…Mike saw the snake moving out of the corner of his eye, so he grabbed Blip to make sure he wasn't seeing things…and to make sure it was a harmless snake. We ended up ALL walking with Mike and the snake down the street to the wash to let him go. Again.
Wish we could tag them so we'd know if it was the same little guy returning over and over. Or if we are just popular with the snakes. We are on the corner at the opposite end from where the wash is. There are four other yards (mostly bigger than ours) that are in between. Not so sure why are is so great…unless they like to slide and swing?
